A garden which does not require water is set to be created in the south of England.

Southern water have teamed up with Pestalozzi International Village to create the garden in the village of Sedlescombe in East Sussex. The garden is intended to be an educational resource to show how gardens can thrive without draining our increasingly precious water resources. The garden will be built by students living in Sedlescombe and studying for their International Baccalaureate at Hastings College.

The source article (see below) states that plants which thrive in dry conditions will be used but does not say whether or not native plants will be featured.
